GSDC of America---1980---Futurity
Victrix & Select #2
"An absolutely
beautiful bitch, she let down near the end. Sound
coming and going, a very easy mover with a lovely deep
body. She pressed the Grand Victrix until she let
down."
~ Kathleen Steen
GSDC of
America---1981---Maturity Victrix
"Best In Maturity was
an outstanding bitch called Merkel's Vendetta. I find
very little fault with this bitch. She moves with a
very long, strong, outreaching gait and is balanced in
forquarter and rearquarter. She is a medium-sized
definitely feminine bitch presenting the deep-bodied
aesthetic curved outline called for in the German
Shepherd standard. She was perhaps a shade close going
away and I would prefer a slightly stronger foreskull.
Vendetta is certainly an outstanding representative of
the breed."

GSDC of
America---1981---Select #3
"Her strength lies in
her loverly side movement, as well as her balance. She
is medium size, feminine, good head, nice eye, good
pigment. Excellent forehand and a very nice rear, good
croup. Good bone and substance, but not yet at full
maturity. Covers ground well with flowing motion.
Started strongly, but lose some enthusiasm along the
way. Not completely sure of herself all of the time.
Nice coming and going, but not quite as clean as the
first two."

1987 Register of
Merit Dam
"GV Ch. Merkel's
Vendetta is the dam of only two litters due to her
untimely accidental death. Her 2 Champions are sired
by Ch. Stuttgart's Sundance Kid ROM, which is a line
breeding on Hawkeye and Hammer. Her other 2 progeny
are sired by Ch. Ubrica's Alex, who is also a Hammer
son."
